Wow! I don't know how to explain how I feel or how excited/anxious I am to have this baby girl! I must say that, despite my current discomfort, I have truly enjoyed being pregnant! I love it! People keep telling me that I am carrying well, and I do feel like I have been blessed with a great 9.5 months so far! Now, Tom and I just can't wait for delivery! We are both so ready!!
Baby girl and I are still doing well. I was at 2 centimeters dilation last week, but not much has changed this week. The only new update I have is that it is my last week of work. After Friday, I will be on maternity leave!!
I am really excited to be able to get off my feet finally. I was originally planning on working up to delivery, but last week was really hard on me physically. My ankles were so swollen and I am just absolutely exhausted all the time. I think my students will be better off with their long-term sub the last three weeks left of school than with grumpy 'ole me at this point! :) So, I am excited to take this next step and then just wait for our girl to arrive! Come on little one!!
