Baby Daddy Update

Baby Daddy seems to be an  appropriate name and since you are all reading this to see what is new with our little baby (or fetus) and Lindsay aka Baby Mamma; I thought it only appropriate that I update everyone about the physical and emotional condition of Baby Daddy.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday and found out that my eyes are still pretty much, well, just bad.  I still can't see very well without the aid of contacts or glasses.  I think this bodes well for the little one (it as I commonly refer to the fetus as I don't know if it is he or she yet) having to one day need corrective lenses of some sort.  I don't know what the record is for the youngest person ever to need glasses is, but I am sure I could spend (waste) some time figuring that fact out.  The youngest person I remember was Laura Dussinger.  I think this could be humorous for my siblings who remember Laura.  She had the smallest glasses I could ever remember (and for some reason I do remember) and man were they thick!

The eye doctor talked to me about lasik eye surgery.  That was fun!  He basically said if you want to do it don't worry about how much it costs.  Easy for him to say he is a doctor!!  I think I understood where he was coming from though, when messing with your vision you don't want anyone cutting any corners.  Blindness would be a difficult side effect to deal with!

This week also marks the greatest number of trips to a doctors office in recent memory a record 3 in 7 days!  In those seven days I will go to the eye doctor twice and the a sports medicine specialist for this annoying pain in my shoulder.  I am not one to go to the doctor for much at all so this is kind of a crazy occurrence.  This is the complete opposite of Baby Mamma who goes to the doctor a whole lot.  I think this will be an interesting point of contention when it (fetus) comes into the world!
