Week 27 Fun!!

Our parents came to visit for the weekend!!  YES, I said parents with an "s."  Tom, Susan and Lynn came to visit Tommy and I so they could support us by coming to our annual Young Life Banquet!  It was such a huge blessing to see them, and to have their help and presence at the banquet!  

It was also wonderful to see an old friend from our days doing Young Life in the Buckeye Region, Erik Hoffman (with his daughter Grace), who came to VA to be our banquet speaker!  He did a great job!  It was so encouraging to hear his stories about life on Young Life Staff.

And, finally, we had to retire a toy that Brady was given for Christmas by his grandma Rockwood (Susan).  He has loved playing/chewing up this former rope-toy for a few months now.  As you can see, he has completely shredded it...so much that we had some fun wrapping it around him to take some goofy pictures.  Sadly, the toy is now in the trash.
