First Times...

Madison's First Halloween! I had fun shooting her in the leaves out front. I could not get her to smile though!! How cute does she look anyway!?!?

Waking up from her first nap in her "big girl crib." She was in a surprisingly good mood when she woke up, considering she was in a "strange" place. After a few tries napping in the crib...and then after she has recently decided to wake mommy up in the middle of the night again, Tom convinced me that it was time to move Maddie to her own room to sleep at night. I have cried so much trying to slowly transition her to her room. The first night on Thursday this week I slept on the couch. But, last night I slept in our bed and Maddie seemed to do fine all night. I kept the monitor on in my room without the sound on. I think I woke up every hour to check if the red line was moving, meaning Maddie is screaming, but I never saw it. So, I guess she did ok...better than mommy at least. We will see how tonight goes. She is in bed now, so hopefully she will stay asleep at least until I go to bed and can't hear her scream. Oh man, this is really hard letting go!!!

Maddie's first soda...Daddy was having a little fun with Maddie. He thought it would be funny to give Madison a "taste" of his mountain lion (grocery version of Mountain Dew). I think she actually did taste it because it definitely looks like her lips are touching the can and she was liking her lips when Tom pulled the can away. Oh the things he will do for attention :) Never a dull moment in our home :)
